Service Description

Expand your skills in the kitchen with this series of 4 baking classes. Each week we will learn how to turn basic ingredients into compliment worthy creations, perfect for summer gatherings but practical for daily life. The course is designed to be educational yet social, so sometimes you will work in groups of 2 or 3 to bring your creations to life. Sign up for all 4 sessions or mix and match classes by interest. Limited space available. June 25: Pastry Appetizers Make 3 variations of a puff pastry appetizer, sure to impress any crowd. 1. Caramelized onions with roasted red peppers and feta 2. Fig and Cheddar 3. Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Basil July 9- Quick Bread: Lemon Zucchini bread with Streusel Topping Summer squash season means a bounty of fresh zucchini to be used in creative ways. We can use this fruit to make a nutrient and fiber rich bread with bright lemon notes. July 16- Yeast Bread- Focaccia Intimidated by bread? Don't be! This easy to prepare recipe will have you looking like a pro every time. Jazz it up with herbs, cheeses and seasonal ingredients or leave it plain as the base to next level sandwiches. July 23-Designed Sheet Cakes Skip the fancy frosting and pipe your designs directly into the batter! Make a bakery worthy creation from the comfort of your own kitchen and with any design you can imagine. Make 1 half sheet cake to be halved and stacked with buttercream.
